1 ml of solution / gel contains: Edetate tetrasodium (EDTA) 190 mg
Cetyltrimethylammonium Bromide 10 mg
excipient ad 1 ml
Properties
«PD» EDTA Root Canal Enlarger is a bactericidal and non-toxic solution/gel to be used for softening the dentinal walls of the root-canal. It acts by chelation of the Calcium ions and elimination of inorganic scrops. This process facilitates the subsequent mechanical widening of the root-canal during treatment.
Indication
> Chemical widening of the root-canal
Directions for use
> Introduce the preparation directly into the root-canal
-for the solution, use a plastic pipette or, for the narrower canals, a smooth broach
-for the gel, use the specially adapted tip of the syringe
> Drill the canal mechanically in the usual manner and re-apply the
preparation as often as necessary
> Rinse thoroughly with water
